Receptions

Many people don't need help planning their party, they just need a DJ to show up and help ensure a good time. We're good at that, of course, but if you're looking for some additional help or advise sometimes a little brain storming is all that's needed and we are great at that too!

Here is a sample 4 hour reception that includes the popular events taking place at a traditional wedding reception.

6:00pm: 60mins: Hors d'oeuvres. Wedding party is urged to arrive sometime before the last quarter hour.

6:40pm: 5mins: Introduce the Wedding Party
5mins: Announce the Bride and Groom.

6:50pm: 5mins: First Dance
5mins: Bride & Father Dance
5mins: Groom & Mother Dance

7:05pm: 5mins: Toast

7:10pm: 60mins: Dinner

8:10pm: 30mins: Open Dancing

8:40pm: 10mins: Garter Toss
10mins: Bouquet Toss

9:00: 15mins: Cut the Cake

9:15pm: 40mins: Open Dancing

9:55pm: 5mins: Last Dance

10:00pm: Time to Say Goodnight!
